Cuisinart CSB-80 Review
This Cuisinart blender comes with a 3-year limited warranty.
About the Cuisinart CSB-80
Ease of Use:
This blender is very easy to use. You do not have to be a rocket scientist to figure this out. The blender has a comfortable grip that does not tire you out. It comes with a one touch button that takes away the complexities of using a modern blender. The high and low speeds are all you get to play with. In our tests we found that the dual speed nature was sufficient to tackle small quantities but trying to blend in a large bowl tends to slow down the process and makes the CSB-80 heat up quicker.
The removable parts of the Cuisinart CSB-80 are dishwasher-safe. So, it is relatively easy to clean. The motor head can be wiped with a cloth if it gets dirty.
Motor and Horsepower:
The Cuisinart CSB-80 has an extremely powerful motor. With 400 Watts to its name, the motor can work pretty quickly and efficiently. But this also causes it to make a terrible sound that is unbearable. However, a motor that can power the blade to puree bean soup is definitely incredible!

Noise and Space:
The Cuisinart CSB-80 is an extremely loud and noisy blender. Perhaps this has something to do with its powerful motor. We actually felt the desire to use earplugs while operating the blender. You will have to increase the volume of your TV or radio while operating this compact monster!
The saving grace though for this blender is undoubtedly its size. You can store it in your cabinet without it taking up too much space. Even if you keep it on the counter top, it never comes in your way. We particularly liked the 16-ounce mixing bowl that comes along with the CSB-80.
Options and Features:
The Cuisinart CSB-80 has one-touch button operation that makes it super easy to use. Moreover, the stainless steel shaft can be detached from the motor for easy cleaning. The chopping disc works efficiently and can make chopping a breeze.
The blender has a whisking attachment, but we found this quite problematic, as it sent everything flying. However, the blades are sharp and can puree carrots in less than 30 seconds – just remember to keep your distance. The splash guard around the blades prevents food and liquid from splashing and making a mess while the blender is running and this begs the question why the same could not be done with the whisking attachment.

Warranty & Service:
This Cuisinart blender comes with a 3-year limited warranty. It is best to register the product on the manufacturer’s website after purchase, so that you do not face a problem should anything go wrong with it. If you decide not to register, hold on to the bill of purchase for the next three years, as that will be needed for repairs and part replacements under warranty.
Conclusion:
If you are looking for a lightweight blender to use when you are too lazy to take out your regular blender, this will ideally serve the purpose. The Cuisinart CSB-80 is a powerful and potent hand blender. It can be used in different containers without any worries. It is affordable and allows you to chop, puree, mix, mash and whisk. Yes, there are a few flaws with this blender, but none so serious to frighten away prospective buyers.
