The Oster BLSTPB-WBL looks stylish and trendy. It is compact and the 20-ounce sport bottle cum pitcher is innovative and unique. We were also quite impressed with the tiny motor that can crush ice and frozen fruit to make shakes, smoothies and drinks. It is easy to use.
What we really loved about this Osterizer is the sports bottle like container that you can make your smoothie or protein shake in, then cover it with a lid and carry it to the gym or office. We however, did find a flaw with the lid that ends up creating a mess whilst blending and can be inconvenient at times. Other than that, we have to say that this compact blender is quite good and effective. It also was a relief to find out that we could throw the bottle into our dishwasher and wash it along with all the other dishes. It comes with a 1 year limited warranty.

About the Oster BLSTPB-WBL
Ease of Use:
While extremely easy to use, the Oster BLSTPB-WBL comes with a few flaws that make it inconvenient at times. For instance, we found the lid to be poorly designed. The lid is extremely wide and the opening is such that when you chuck down a smoothie or shake, the liquid tends to pool on the lid and then trickle down the sides. This can make it quite messy.
Also, when crushing ice and frozen fruits, the blender tends to stop because it cannot handle the thickness. At this point, you are forced to take out the bottle, give it a shake and then put it back before you can resume blending. However, the blender is easy to clean. It is dishwasher safe and the bottle looks nice and elegant.
Motor and Horsepower:
For such a small, single person blender, the Oster BLSTPB-WBL packs just enough power. It comes with a 250-Watt motor that can crush ice and frozen fruits in seconds. We were extremely impressed with this feature of the blender although it is much less than competing models in the market.
In fact, it was amazing to see what this compact blender could do to fruits. With a single touch, fruit and ice is pulverized to just the right consistency.

Noise and Space:
We noticed that for a small blender, it did make a little noise, but it is by no means intrusive. We did not get disturbed by the whizzing of the motor nor were we prompted to increase the volume of the TV. In fact, it sounded like any compact blender. The only difference is that the Oster BLSTPB-WBL is compact and small. It hardly takes up any space on the counter top. Even the base is small enough to not come in the way.
Options and Features:
The Oster BLSTPB-WBL provides a single blending and pulsing option. It’s one touch button makes blending easy, and while you are blending smoothies or shakes, the plastic sport bottle does not leak.
However, we did notice a few problems with this blender. The cogs on the blender and the bottle are made from soft plastic. Both these cogs need to mesh with one another for the blender to work efficiently. We noticed that the cogs wore off rather quickly. Once this happens, the blender virtually becomes useless.

Warranty & Service:
The Oster BLSTPB-WBL comes with a one year limited warranty. It is a consumer grade blender and the warranty becomes void if you use the blender for commercial purposes. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear.
Conclusion:
The Oster BLSTPB-WBL is a good blender if you are willing to overlook the flaw in the lid design. You can avoid easily using the lid. While this may be inconvenient, it is better than creating a mess each time you take a sip. Alternatively, you can use a long straw to drink from the bottle. The bottle looks elegant and can be carried with ease. The blender is also pretty powerful and can crush ice and frozen fruits in seconds.
