Noise and Space:
It has a loud and powerful engine, make no mistake of it. You would have to get used to the roar of the engine. It may not be heard loudly from another far off room or from outside, in the garage, but at close range it may seem pretty loud. After a week though, we managed to tune the sound of the roaring engine out so well to a point where it felt like a murmuring hum. Its average size makes it comfy in an average to large sized kitchen. Maybe a small, possibly less powerful model would fit into a smaller kitchenette. It can also be easily dismantled and stored in the cabinet.
Options and Features:
This appliance comes with 7 different selectable modes. There are manual speeds of slow, medium, and high. These three speeds are used for most ordinary mixing and food processing needs. It would not be advisable to use any of these three manual speeds to chop ice or any other hard substance. For that, the Oster BVCB07-Z comes with pulse speed of low and high. These two modes are used to pulse ice and to crush other substances that are too hard or firm for the three basic modes. Additionally, there are some buttons that are pre-programmed for selected usages – they are the Food Chop button and the Frozen Drinks button. These pre-programmed modes are for the frozen fruit juice and smoothie enthusiasts.

Warranty & Service:
This is not a commercial grade blender and does not have much of a warranty outside of the one year warranty that comes standard with its purchase. The one year warranty has to be activated upon purchase and the Oster BVCB07-Z has to be registered by the warranty and the user in order to begin the year. An additional warranty can be purchased through the distributor for addition years of protection against damage.
Conclusion:
The blend has many functions to meet the needs of the consumer that purchases it. It is sturdy and of a nice size. Its motor is reported to be loud, most likely because of its crushing capabilities, speeds, and size something we were fine with. Cleanup is rather simple although it needs frequent rinsing. Assuming that you maintain the Oster BVC07-Z, it ought to last a good 5 years. Overall, it is a good buy for a mid-sized household that doesn’t mind the noise and appreciates additional features such as pulsing frozen drinks.
